Day 1Arrive in Christchurch
Welcome to the South Island! Meet your Group Leader and crew at your hostel in Christchurch. Welcome dinner and trip briefing.
Day 2Christchurch & Lake Tekapo
City orientation in rebuilt Christchurch, then travel to Lake Tekapo. Soak in natural hot pools with views of snow-capped mountains.
Day 3Mount John & Stargazing
Hike Mount John for 360-degree panoramic views of turquoise lakes and the Southern Alps. This area is a UNESCO Dark Sky Reserve — the stargazing is unreal.
Day 4Aoraki/Mount Cook & Wanaka
Hike the Hooker Valley Track through Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park — glaciers, swing bridges, and jaw-dropping alpine views. Continue to Wanaka.
Day 5Explore Wanaka
Kayak on the crystal-clear waters of Lake Wanaka. Visit the famous Wanaka Tree and hike Mount Iron for sunset views.
Day 6Queenstown & Jet Boat
Arrive in Queenstown — the adventure capital of the world. Jet boat at 80km/h through canyon gorges with 360-degree spins.
Day 7Milford Sound
Full-day cruise through the dramatic fjords of Milford Sound. Towering peaks, cascading waterfalls, seals on the rocks, and dolphins in the water.
Day 8Queenstown Free Day
Free day in the adventure capital for optional bungee jumping, skydiving, or the Skyline gondola and luge. Farewell dinner with the crew.
Day 9Farewell
